Hello everyone! I have waited as long as I can to write this Christmas letter to you all because the world is changing so fast. As I write this, we are still in lockdown and who knows whether that will continue or whether we will be able to see our families at Christmas? As we say in the UK, it is all up in the air.

There has, of course, been good news even in these dark times. I would like to congratulate Elena Pronima on her marriage in August (see photo below) and to Tamzyn de Carra Couza and Ivana Ibarra who both had babies this year.

I would like to tell you all that this will be my last edition of the magazine as I will be handing over to a new editor very soon. I have absolutely loved setting up this magazine and seeing it grow and flourish but having worked for over 30 years, I would like to give myself the gift of time to enjoy my family and my hobbies and to do all the things which I haven’t had time for in the past, including learning new languages and the guitar. I will still do a little work and of course write articles for this magazine. I will still follow your journeys through this magazine, the Neurolanguage Facebook group and of course, our wonderful conference.

So all that is left are my wishes for you all. I truly wish you happiness, health and success in your life inside and outside of your profession.

See you in the New Year,

Sharyn.
