First and foremost, I would really like to thank Sharyn for her brilliant idea to create a Neurolanguage Community magazine and for her amazing art and skill as the editor to manage this magazine and really bring it into reality.

The idea of the magazine is to bring interesting articles, news and updates to the community, not only from Neurolanguage Coaches but also from external input on learning, neuroscience, psychology, languages and all other areas that could interest us all. We really want to encourage all of you to write articles on topics of your choice.
In addition, if any of you would like to share feedback from clients or write about your journeys with Neurolanguage or any other learning journey, we are open to everything ? and definitely do share your news.

If there is something wonderful that you would like to share with us, like births, marriages or awesome life moments like climbing a mountain, we would love to hear about it and share it ?.

Personally, I am in awe to see how the Neurolanguage network is growing and how awesome you all are! You are now present in 63 countries (for the first time I counted this last month and was absolutely amazed) and 450 of you have now taken the course.

Additionally, worldwide I am giving free talks and having meetings with teachers from schools and learners of all ages and it is wonderful just to see how many teachers are yearning for this shift and just how many of you out there are already making that shift and transition intuitively. Truly wonderful to witness. I strongly believe the more individual teachers shift, the more the systems will start shifting.

As many of you know, this year has been a year of many “first times” for me. My first ever long haul flights, my first time in many countries including Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Greece, even my first visit to the USA. My first experience of sandboarding in the Peruvian desert, my first time to fly over the Nazca lines in Peru, my first visit to an Astronomical observatory in Chile, my first Argentinian tango experience and to see crocodiles!

It has also been my first time delivering free speeches to teachers. I decided last year that wherever I go, I would always try to deliver voluntary and free talks to bring the message about the brain and Neurolanguage to as many teachers as possible all over the world and especially teachers and schools of little resources.

I am extremely grateful to all the people in the different countries who have really helped organize these. As we all progress more and more with Neurolanguage I do hope to be able to do more and more of these voluntary talks for schools and children with lower economical means.

But the highlight for me has to be when I meet you for the first time. As most of the courses are done online, we meet on the video or we hear our voices on the platform, but actually to meet you in the flesh and to trigger the joy we get from connection on that personal level is phenomenal and really affirms that our brains are wired to be social. I am looking forward to meeting and connecting with more and more of you in every corner of the world.

At this point, one of my major concerns is how to help all of you get your businesses going and get clients to notice you and work with you and to this end I will be focusing a lot of energy on how ELC can support and assist as much as possible. I will also be targeting some big companies to see how we can get companies to change their language learning strategies and really start investing in quality language coaching to achieving and faster and more efficient progress.

We will be starting a series of workshops regarding business set up and managing business and some of you will also be mentors for workshops, so if you have any ideas regarding this, do let me know.

Finally, I would really like to express my gratitude to you all, for taking the jump, being pioneers and also for being change makers worldwide.

Ultimately, you are the change and as Gandhi said:
“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see what others do.”
